THE APPROACH

Technical detail.
Clear decisions.

This project brings together practical implementation thinking, clear documentation, and an emphasis on making complex technical work understandable and useful.

PROJECT WALKTHROUGH

Inside the work

01

Protect selected data

The SQL Server exercise encrypted at least two table columns and tested how a user assigned a database role could access the resulting data. The focus was understanding the relationship between encryption, permissions, and usable application access.

02

Test the recovery path

The documented exercises included a full SQL Server backup, a differential backup, MongoDB backup, and MongoDB restoration. Backup success matters only when the recovery path is understood and tested.

03

Explore vector search

The MongoDB work also documented creation of a vector search index, generation of query embeddings, and execution of a vector search against a sample movie collection.
